Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026. Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
This policy explains which personal data LongTaxi processes and why.
Who is responsible
[company name — to be filled in Transfers → Settings], [company addr — to be filled in Transfers → Settings], e-mail [company email — to be filled in Transfers → Settings], is the controller of the data described here.
What we process and why
- Searching for a ride: the places, dates and numbers you enter, to compute prices. Your IP address is used for a few hours to protect the service against abuse, and is not stored with your search.
- Booking: your name, e-mail, phone number, pick-up and destination addresses, date and time, flight or train number, number of passengers and luggage, and any notes — to arrange and carry out the ride (contract).
- Payment: processed by our payment provider; we receive the result of the payment and the last digits of the card, never the full card number (contract, legal obligations).
- Messages and complaints: to answer you (contract, legitimate interest).
- Accounting records: kept as required by law (legal obligation).
- Waiting list: if you ask us to tell you when bookings open for a route, your e-mail address, the route, the price you saw and your language — to send you that one message (consent).
Who receives your data
- The Transport Partner who carries out your ride and its driver: what they need to do the ride.
- Service providers working for us: hosting, e-mail delivery, payment processing, and map services. Addresses you type are looked up through our own server, so the map services do not receive your IP address.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Booking data for 3 years after the ride for questions and claims, and accounting documents for 10 years as required by Luxembourg law. Data used against abuse for at most 24 hours. Waiting-list entries until the message is sent or you ask us to delete them, and at most 2 years.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing, by writing to [company email — to be filled in Transfers → Settings]. You may also complain to the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD) or the authority of your country.
Cookies
The site uses only what it needs to work (for example to remember your search on your device). No advertising or tracking cookies are used without your consent.
